In our daily routine, we go through many circumstances, especially related to cleanliness. There are lots of unfortunate events of getting a pen mark on your wooden fixtures, but luckily, there are also some pretty immediately ahead strategies of having it out.
- Use essential oils to remove stain
You can find essential oils in any hardware store which is also known as turpentine substitute. Dampen a cotton ball gently with the mineral spirits and wipe it on a hidden place of the fixtures. If the cotton is stained with some finishing agent, do not continue. Buff the stained place gently with the material. Then, smooth it off with a moist rag. If the stains continue to be there, cross on to the subsequent step.
Rub the stained area using a piece of steel wood moistened with mineral spirits. Do this gently, making sure to rub along the wood grain. Try to clean only as much as you have to. The less finish you remove, the easier it will be to refinish the furniture later. Use a fresh cloth to wipe off the shavings from mineral spirit and steel wool. The stain should have completely disappeared. If necessary, continue to repair. If not, please wax or polish as soon as possible to protect the surface.
- Use alcohol to remove stain
Rubbing alcohol is a well-known ink removal product. Inexpensive hair sprays tend to contain higher levels of alcohol, so they are an excellent substitute when no alcohol is available. Dampen a cotton ball or cotton swab with alcohol or hairspray, then lightly wipe the ink-stained location till the ink is removed. If needed repeat with a fresh cotton swab or ball. Keep away from scrubbing with strains as this will cause putting off a number of the end and can leave a mark. When the stains are absolutely removed, rinse the location by wiping it with a clean material moistened with water.
- Use baking soda to remove stain
One approach commonly recommended by the experts is to apply baking soda over. This kitchen ingredient has natural eroding features that make it notable for eliminating stains. Add one teaspoon to half of a cup of water and mix nicely. The powder needs to dissolve into a skinny paste, spread this over the stain and watch for around a few seconds, eliminate the solution with a smooth, easy cloth and the ink must come away, too.
- Use washing up liquid to remove stain
You can also try washing up liquid to remove the ink stain from wooden furniture. It takes half a teaspoon of soap to a third cup of slightly warm water. Mix the solution until a lot of bubbles appear- it is these bubbles that have a strong detergency, not the liquid itself. Wipe off some bubbles with a soft cloth, and then apply stains. Wipe with a damp cloth and wipe a layer of the furniture.
- Use wood bleach to remove stain
Another option is wood bleach that contains oxalic acid. Oxalic acid is very suitable for iron-based stains, it covers certain types of ink.
